Now In order to achieve six packs abs it seems like climbing a hill that is steep enough but as the quote says “The journey of a Thousand miles begins with one step ”.So I have to take the first step towards this long, tiring, and rigorous journey, and Inshallah coming out of it as victorious. From which the first step is to lose weight and excess fat on my body . Now in order to achieve this thing, there are a number of approaches to do it. Dieting with a brisk walk, keto diet, joining a gym, etc. But I have chosen a different approach which is intermittent fasting which seems more suitable as it is affordable and I can manage it with my schedule.

In intermittent fasting, it has few conditions that a person must first satisfy in order to achieve start intermittent fasting.

The person must be in between 20–25 years old and unmarried(As suggested by the Dietician)

The person must have a schedule in which he fast during work hours

Avoid sugar, soda, and carbonated drinks, and fast food

Include fresh vegetables and fruits rich in fiber that will help deigestions

In intermittent fasting is of many types such as 20–4 hours,16–8 and 14–8 hours, but the most popular one is 16–8 hours one which I have started in which I have to fast for 16 hours a day and 8 hours is the feeding window in which I can have one meal irrespective of the number of calories you intake in that feeding window and during fast you can have Green tea and water so that it helps you stay hydrated.

I choose intermittent fasting it helps reduce fat more readily and in this busy schedule, I might find it difficult to have time for exercise. It is more affordable as compared to other methods. According to research, it also helps a person to have more focus on work and people feel more energetic and productive in their work.

I started this on Monday, the most challenging day for me was Monday I was feeling weak and I have the feeling that I must stop this and must choose another plan. But then I realize that in order to achieve the goal I have to stick to it and have to come out of my comfort zone as well as I have to make sacrifices in order to achieve it. I faced a similar situation on the next day but by Wednesday I felt normal and my mind and body get used to it and then afterward I didn’t get dizzy but in fact, I was more focused on my work and more energetic towards it

A very interesting thing happened today All of my friends decided to order pizza on which I simply refused on which they were astonished and ask “Is Everything alright how is it that you are not eating pizza”.On which I replied that I am on a diet. They burst into laughter and said it is impossible that you can control yourself while we are all eating. But when the pizza arrives it. I started to have the craving and I was having a feeling that what is wrong with one slice of pizza and half a glass of drink(Pepsi) it’s no big deal.

But Alhamdulillah I control myself and didn't have a single slice while my friends were amazed and appreciated my self-control.

I have also downloaded an app fasting tracker from the play store that helps me to track my progress and motivates me to through the journey by having motivational quotes on the display of the app

from this experience, I learn self-control and in order to achieve something big in your life you have to make sacrifices and have to stay motivated and consistent towards it. Only then you can achieve your goal.
